Terms of use

These terms apply when you use parrot.markets, its API or its MCP server ("Parrot"). By using Parrot you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Parrot.

1. Who we are

Parrot is published by Bernard Huang. Contact: ox@mail.grokbot.com.

2. What Parrot is

Parrot publishes data about mention markets listed by third-party venues: transcripts and excerpts, word counts, settlement history and related figures. Parrot offers no trading, takes no orders, holds no funds and does not settle markets.

3. Not advice

Nothing on Parrot is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to trade. Rates and probabilities are base rates from history, not forecasts. You are responsible for your own decisions. Venue availability depends on where you live; it is your job to follow the rules that apply to you.

4. Operator trading

People who run Parrot trade on Kalshi and Polymarket, including mention markets. The rules we follow are on the Disclosure page, which forms part of these terms.

5. Using Parrot

You may read, search and query Parrot, and build tools and agents on its API and MCP server, within the published limits. You may not:

We may change limits, or block traffic that breaks these rules, at any time.

6. Data and content

Third-party content. Transcripts, quotes, captions, audio, video, names and logos belong to their owners. We show them under the rules on Sources. Using Parrot gives you no rights in them.

Parrot-derived data. Counts, rates, settlement history, probabilities, QA results and metadata are Parrot's work.

They are licensed under CC BY 4.0. Credit "parrot.markets" with a link. The licence covers Parrot's own data only: rights in transcripts and media stay with each source, as above.

Attribution we pass on. Earnings transcripts come from the Hugging Face dataset defeatbeta/yahoo-finance-data (ODC-By). UK Parliament text contains Parliamentary information licensed under the Open Parliament Licence v3.0. See Credits.

7. Trademarks

Kalshi, Polymarket and the names and logos of companies, people, shows, teams and leagues are trademarks of their owners. Parrot uses them only to identify the subject of a market and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

8. No warranty

Parrot is provided "as is" and "as available". Data can be wrong, incomplete or late. We publish our measured accuracy on Accuracy, but we do not promise any level of accuracy, availability or fitness for a purpose. A venue's settlement is final; Parrot's count is not.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of Parrot, including trading losses, lost profits or lost data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to US$100.

10. Takedowns and corrections

Rights holders can ask us to change or remove content by emailing ox@mail.grokbot.com. Data errors can be reported from any page or to ox@mail.grokbot.com. See Contact.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and material changes are noted on the Changelog. Using Parrot after a change means you accept it.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.

Updated 2026-10-22. Plain text for agents.
