Coming next
- More transcripts: Trump rallies, company keynotes, and more TV and podcasts, as each source passes QA. Each page names its source; pages without one say "Transcript pending".
- Timed clips ("Hear it") once a source's timing is checked against its audio, starting with earnings calls.
- Better matching of White House "next briefing" and politics markets to the right appearance, so those categories can leave Beta.
2026-10-22 · Terms and the API page
- The Terms now name the governing law: the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
- The API page (formats, limits, caching and errors) moved to /api-guide. Its old address, /api, stopped loading; /api.md and the API itself (/api/v1) are unchanged.
2026-10-20 · Transcripts beyond earnings
- 842 appearances outside earnings now have text, counted under each market's own speaker rule: politics 275 (the New York City mayor, from nyc.gov), TV news 165, Trump 116, the White House 74, the Fed 71, Prime Minister's Questions and other world events 61, podcasts 53 and business 27.
- Each category's agreement with settled markets is on Accuracy, with every mismatch listed. Categories below their bar are marked Beta: on 10/20, the White House, politics, world (PMQs) and business.
- Machine-attributed text (captions or speech recognition, with speaker turns marked by a language model) carries a badge, and its agreement is published with the rest.
- Weekly and monthly window markets have their own table on Accuracy, because only the markets our count can already decide are graded.
- Outside earnings, transcripts arrive in batches for now; Status shows what is late in each category.
2026-10-20 · Every mention market
- Parrot now covers Kalshi and Polymarket mention markets in every category, not just earnings: Earnings, Trump, News, Politics, Sports, Business, Entertainment, Podcasts, World, the Fed and the White House. That is 466 Kalshi series and 1,300+ Polymarket events, back to mid-2024.
- New page addresses by category, such as
/earnings/NFLXand/fed/fomc-press-conference. Old addresses redirect. - Word history for every speaker, show and company with markets: how each listed word settled before, counted under each venue's own speaker rule.
- A probability for listed words with enough history: a calibrated base rate from settlement history (on earnings calls, blended with transcript history), shown with its source and sample size. How it is built and tested: Methodology.
- Market prices sit behind the Markets switch, off by default, attributed to each venue.
- Earnings calls keep full word counts from 10,491 transcripts of 185 companies since 2005.
- New Accuracy, Methodology, Sources and Disclosure pages.
- Cross-category API and MCP tools:
upcoming, entity, brief, word, quotes, clips, history, searchandchanges, plus MCPsearchandfetch. No key needed. - Parrot's own data (counts, rates, settlement history, probabilities, QA results) is licensed under CC BY 4.0: credit parrot.markets. Transcript rights stay with each source. See Terms.
- Share images for every category and for the most active speakers, shows and companies.
2026-10-19 · Agent-first API
