# Privacy

Parrot has no accounts, no ads and no tracking cookies. We collect the minimum needed to run and protect the service.

## What we collect

Page views are counted in aggregate from these request records. No analytics script runs in your browser.

## What stays in your browser

Your theme, pinned items and similar settings are stored in your browser's local storage. They never reach us.

## Embedded media

Video clips use a click-to-load player. Nothing loads from YouTube or any other third party until you press play. After that, the provider's privacy policy applies.

## Who processes data

- **Tokay:** application hosting, on servers in the United States. Its network proxy sees each request on the way to the app.
- **Cloudflare:** domain registration and DNS only. Requests to Parrot do not pass through Cloudflare today; if that changes, this page will say so first.

We do not sell or share personal data, and we use it for nothing beyond the purposes above.

## Children

Parrot is not directed at children under 16.
